Dear Friends,
It is a joyous event for the whole church when two people declare their love and commit themselves to living their lives together. We are happy to be in a position to witness that commitment and welcome you to celebrate your wedding at St. Cecilia Church.
Our church is a popular place for weddings because of its beauty and its proximity to "downtown" St. Louis. Because we celebrate many weddings here during the course of the year we encourage you to visit our church and, if you choose to have your wedding here, make arrangements as soon as possible.

General Procedure for Arranging Your Wedding
- Contact the church and talk to one of the Parish Secretaries. When you first speak with us, you may set a tentative date for your wedding and rehearsal. If you would like a priest from St. Cecilia the date would first have to be confirmed with one of our priest. This tentative date will be held for one month.
- All the required documents and information may be downloaded above. Please complete the Contract and Couple Information Sheet with your deposit of $425 to the rectory. Only after this is received are the dates for your wedding and rehearsal confirmed.
Dates and Times of Weddings
Weddings may be scheduled on Friday evenings, at 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. or on Saturdays, at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m or after 5:30 p.m. .You may schedule your rehearsal on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday depending on availability of the church and the priest presiding at your wedding.
The facilities are available 1 1/2 hours prior to and 1/2 hour after the event of the wedding. Request of additional time can be arranged for an additional fee. Please discuss with the Wedding Secretary prior to your initial payment.
Offerings
The initial cost of getting married at St. Cecilia Church is $850.00. $1000 for Saturday after our normal afternoon mass at 4:00 p.m. This amount includes the use of the building, and the sacristan if needed on the day of the wedding. The wedding room is a comfortable completely furnished air-conditioned room, with full access to kitchen area, refrigerators, microwave, restroom. The room is available 1 1/2 hour prior to the scheduled event only(see above). The room can be used for dressing, however, there are no acccommodations for hair and makeup.

Music
There are guidelines concerning music at church services. The priest preparing you must approve all music performed during the ceremony. An organist and soloist are available from parish members, if you desire you may arrange for your own soloist, please discuss this when arranging your wedding with the clergy. An outside Organist may be used at your discretion, St. Cecilia's has a Wicks Organ, 23 ranks, 3 manuals. The church is not equiped for any music to be used through our sound system using an IPOD or any other recording devices. Standard microphone's are available for any music accompanist.
Aisle Length and Runners
Aisle Runners are not permitted due to safety and insurance reasons. No flowers maybe used by the flower girls down the main aisle.
Access For Those With Disabilities
Our parking lot is located on Eichelberger between Louisiana and Alaska.
We have access for those with disabilities between the school and church buildings on the side entrance.
