St. Cecilia Parish is happy to provide religious instruction to all children seeking formation in the Catholic Faith. Any child who is to receive the Sacraments of Initiation must attend these classes if they are not enrolled in the grade school.
More than just a program for the preparation of the Sacraments, the purpose of PSR is to instruct children in the foundations of the Christian Faith. Parents are encouraged to register their children in Kindergarten and to continue formation until they finish the entire program. We, as faithful followers of Christ, must be able to give reason for what we profess, as St. Peter writes: “Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you for a reason for your hope.” (1 Pt 3:15)
